has detected. The alarm provides more data about the patient,
including microbiological and real-time test reviews plus
a profile of all current medications.
The Antibiotic Assistant®
function helps determine the appropriate therapy by taking
the clinician through a series of steps to accomplish the
following:
Identify syndromes
Confirm demographics
Note allergies
Establish clinical classification and treatment location
Gather unknown organism/empiric therapy information
to add known susceptibilities and include mitigating factors.
The Antibiotic Assistant function then displays the recommended
therapy, along with the decision logic and alternative therapies.

displays important data downloaded from the hospital’s
pharmacy system, including dosage amounts, therapy duration
