Welcome to the VITEK2 Compact online training course! This is the first step towards learning how your new instrument works and how it can most effectively be used in your laboratory. As you go through this course, you will notice that it is comprised of three components each accessible by clicking on the associated links.

The first component consists of Objectives and Guided Viewing Questions. The Objectives will outline what the user can expect to learn in each chapter. The Guided Viewing Questions reinforce and assist with comprehension.

The second component consists of Reference Materials that provide additional information, ensuring that you achieve maximum understanding.

The third component is the Video. It has been broken down into small chapters. Please note that in an effort to help you best manage your training time, we have included the viewing time of each chapter (i.e., 6:49 indicates that you will need 6 minutes and 49 seconds to view the chapter).

We highly recommend that you print out the objectives and questions for each chapter before watching the associated video. Questions may be answered as you view the video. Please bring your completed online workbook to the VITEK 2 Compact instructor led training class in Durham, North Carolina. The instructors will be reviewing training materials and providing the answer key.
