With Slidex® reagents, bioMérieux offers a range of rapid bacterial identification tests. The kits utilize latex particles coated with antibodies. The antigens in question bond to these antibodies causing visible agglutination in as little as 30 seconds or up to a few minutes.

The speed with which bacteria are identified is important for medical diagnostics, as well as the quick implementation of the appropriate therapeutic strategy.
