Investigator Initiated Research

Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) is defined as research studies involving marketed bioMérieux products that result from unsolicited proposals from investigators external to bioMérieux. Investigators may request funding or in-kind support (instrument loan or reagents) for an IIR study.

All researchers with the scientific, technical, and operational capability to conduct a study are welcome to apply. Proposals are reviewed monthly and assessed based on their scientific merit, feasibility, alignment with bioMérieux’s areas of focus, and the experience of the research team.
